The Sikh community in Kolkata demanded apologies from the BJP for the racist remark on an IPS officer Jaspreet Singh who was doing his duty, one of the members of the BJP passed a racist remark calling him “Khalistani” as a result there is a dharna near BJP office in Kolkata and demanding for an apology.

How This Dharna Started? 

As we all know Sikhs have launched a dharna near the Delhi border for the demand of  MSP, all Sikhs at present are at the peek, and such racist remarks from the BJP Leader have added more fuel to this. Passing such a racist remark on an on-duty IPS officer how is sikh calling him Khalistani gave rise to another Dharan near BJP office in Kolkata

BJP Take On Such Racist Comment?

On the other hand, one of the BJP members Priti Gandhi tweeted a post to counter this Kalistani comment, in this post about how Kolkata police  In 2020, manhandled a Sikh security officer, pulled his sacred turban off, and dragged him by his hair during a BJYM protest in Kolkata. As we all know sikh turban how very important to them.

Public Stance On This?
