You will be amazed to know that he just 10th pass as well he has served as transport minister in Jharkhand and was the cabinet minister when Arjun Munda was CM of Jharkhand. Life of Champai Soren as Politician
The life of Champai Soren was not as easy as other politicians, he was born into a tribal family in Jamshedpur his father, Simal Soren was a farmer, and he had never dreamt that he would one day become Chief Minster of the Jharkhand. If I talk about his education then he just 10th pass from the Bihar Board.
His political journey was amazing and full of ups and downs which made him more strong in the field of politics
- He became a member of the JMM (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha)and represented the Seraikella Bihar assembly constituency as MLA. From 1991 – 2000 almost 10 years he served as MLA of the Seraikella. After the partition of Jharkhand from Bihar again he was elected as MLA of Seaikella from 2005 -2009 almost 5 years, 2014 – 2019 as MLA from Seraikella.
- During the BJP government in 2010, he served as cabinet minister ( Science and Technology, Labour and Housing) The president’s law was imposed on Jharkhand, and Arjun Munda was the CM of Jharkhand at that time. In 2013 again he was elected as the cabinet minister this time he controlled the Food and Civil Supplies, Transport. JMM was in power when he was elected for 2nd time as food and civil supplies cabinet minister. In 2019 again he became the cabinet minister but this he was as transport minister.
How did Champai Soren get the title of Jharkhand Tiger?
Champai Soren is also called as Jharkhand Tiger because he actively took part in the Jharkhand Movement to separate Jharkhand from Bihar. He was standing alongside Shibu Soren during this fight and from there he got the title of Jharkhand Tiger
what is his relationship with Hemant Soren ?
It said that Champai Soren is a close family friend of Hemant Soren, In 2000 when the Jharkhand Movement was led by Shibu Soren who was the father of Hemant Soren Champai Soren stood alongside the Shibu sorer in this movement
In 2019 when Hemant Soren became the CM of Jharkhand, He served as transport minister under Hemant Soren’s government.
In other words, we can say that after the death of Shibu Soren, he is the known guardian of Hemant Soren.
